I have always been a fan

of dear Courtney Love.

Her looks, her tunes

and her attitude

won me over

right away.

 

Her most recent offering

at first seems

extreme and disturbing,

even for her.


But I stayed with it,

and found some

really sweet spots,

esp. her heart felt,

heartbreaking

prayer, a true confession

of need and that

anthem of existential despair --

... Sunday morning

& the rain

begins to fall ...,

etc ... as per

her CD Nobodys

Daughter.

 

Shes been in the hole

for a long time,

but shes

making a medicine

of the illness --

unrelentingly,

majestically,

beautifully.
